A poker game typically involves a minimum number of chips for each player to purchase before the game begins. Typical denominations of chips are white, red and blue. A white chip is worth the minimum ante or bet, while a red and a blue chip are both worth five whites.<\/p>\n
During the first phase of a poker hand, called the \u201cflop,\u201d three community cards are revealed face up on the table. Each player then creates their best five-card poker hand using the two personal cards they hold and the five community cards. Depending on the rules of the game, players can draw replacement cards for their own cards during or after the flop.<\/p>\n
