A number of variants of Poker exist. Each version of Poker has its own rules and betting intervals. For instance, the first bet must be made by one player. If a hand contains five identical cards, it is known as a straight flush. A straight flush is the highest hand that can be made with the standard pack of cards. In poker, A, Q, J, and 10 of one suit are the highest ranking straight flush. The royal straight flush is the highest ranking hand, with odds of one in nearly 650,000. The next highest hand is four of a kind, which is composed of four cards of the same rank. If the fourth and fifth cards are not matched, the hand is regarded as a low flush.
